Queenstown sits on a gigantic glacial lake.  It's amazing b/c surrounding these lakes are these gigantic mountains.

One of the ranges you can see from our campsite is the Remarkables.  You might remember them from the

Lord of the Rings movies.  We took this picture right outside our tent!

In addition to the beauty there are two really cool things you can do in Queenstown.

1) Is go Jetboating!  Basically Jetboating is going really fast and doing lots of crazy things on the rivers around Queenstown.

The Jetboat is a shallow bottom boat that has a vacuum on the bottom in the middle.  It sucks up the water through the bottom

and then shoots it out the back.  With no blades, the boat can literally go in waters that are only few inches deep.
